Who's nuts are roasting

That went quick. The Thanksgiving Day Holiday Weekend that is. My 86 year old Mom came to town to have Turkey day with me and the family. I don’t remember my Grandmothers but there is no doubt that my three boys will never forget her. I know where my ball busting came from. Had plenty of turkey and football. As you know I am running for Governor and one of the things I will do is make Thanksgiving a 2 day Holiday. Turkey both days, football both days, and more time off for everyone. Did a little traveling as well, to Massachusetts and to Lyndonville. Not many people on the road, I was very surprised.
This is the first year in a long time we did not get the Christmas tree up on this weekend and now I’m stuck. We have always decorated the tree as a family. With on son away at college it’s either do it without him or wait until he returns the week before Christmas. I think I might put the tree up with lights only and wait until Steven comes home to really decorate it. I will be putting my house lights up this weekend. By the way, for the 53rd time in my life I did not shop on Black Friday and I am pretty damn proud of it.
We just completed the Comcast bundle at my house, cable, Internet and now phone service and with that I get all the movie channels and the NFL network. Not just in my living room but in the bedroom as well. Yippee!!! Want to thank Steve my cable guy for talking my wife into it. I’d write more but I need to get home to see what’s on HBO
